New code
The recent development of our new ecms has taken a new turn. We´ve decided after much consideration that we want to completely renew our code. Instead of naming it ecms v3 we´ve also decided to rename our flagship to wcms - web content management system.

Having changed towards a complete rewrite we´ll have to postpone the release date to at least March. Our previous versions of ecms will of course still receive proper support should you so require.
The reason behind our decision is that we want to clean up the code and make it even more secure, userfriendly, faster and include more features. We also want to keep the code "simple" and avoid to much complexity to make additions and changes to the code without having to be a computer scientist.
The admin- and userinterface in the wcms will be completely seperated, and it will be possible to use the same URL for multiple languages. Sessions will control both language, stylesheets and graphics. So when you enter the page and choose your language all of the above will change accordingly. This leaves you with the option of having different looks and feels to each language individually
Modules to be included are as of now as following:
- Unlimited categories (sections)
- Unlimited pages (articles)
- Downloads with unlimited categories
- Weblinks with unlimited categories
- Automatic printerfriendly pages on all pages, managed through CSS
- Tell-a-friend pages (not popups)
- User comments on published articles
- Complete site statistics including tell-a-friend stats
- User management, and the possibility to add and edit pages directly on the website (if userlevel allows it)
- Numerous other automatic features like download counters, ratings, dates etc.
- Multiple polls
- Extended admin backend with complete site control including a massive upgrade to the newsletter module
If you feel we´ve left something out please don´t hesitate to send us your future requests, and we´ll be happy to include that/those as well.
