Normally these Spamming Bastards never bother to check if their comments are posted or not, they simply use remote scripts to inject the text after figuring out the proper commands to send. By adding a Captcha verification this is much harder, and I´m hoping this will stop them or (more likely) just send them elsewhere...
"(Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) A category of technologies used to ensure that a human is making the transaction online rather than a computer. Developed at Carnegie Mellon University, random words or letters are displayed in a distorted fashion so that they can be deciphered by people, but not by software. Users are asked to type in what they see on screen to verify they are, in fact, human."
But why do this? I´ve never even bothered to read nor visit any of these sites. You KNOW they´re just hoping to copy your credit card details over an insecure connection. You will NEVER receive any products (try googling), and you will also WASTE your precious time.
Finally, it appears that some of these spammers really know their way around the computer, why not use that knowledge to something a bit more constructive??
